E per cercare insieme a Damiani, autore delle musiche preziosissime, una sorta di tempo interno alle parole che ribaltasse l\u2019idea di narrazione, spostandolo nei territori di un riuscito impasto, davvero singolare, che ha il jazz dentro il codice genetico.<br \/><em><strong>La nuova Sardegna \u2013 28 July 2007<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Tra le note di jazz nasce una storia, un&#8217;altra e un&#8217;altra ancora, tante quante sono le lettere che Fabrizio Gifuni e Sonia Bergamasco narrano con efficacia in oltre un&#8217;ora di spettacolo. L&#8217;interpretazione della coppia conquista il pubblico, sedotto dalle parole che si fanno immagini cos\u00ec concrete da restituire l&#8217;essenza del genio: dissacrante e irrequieta, romantica ed estasiata.<br \/><em><strong>L\u2019unione sarda \u2013 29 July 2007<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>L&#8217;eloquio degli attori, che si alternano e sovrappongono musicalmente, incastrando le loro tonalit\u00e0 di soprano e baritono, riporta in vita Amadeus anche grazie al contrappunto straordinario di Danilo Rea, Gianluigi Trovesi e Paolo Damiani, il meglio che il panorama jazzistico possa offrire oggi.<br \/>Ognuno dei cinque artisti sul palco meriterebbe il proscenio per una serata giocata in a-solo, noi li abbiamo tutti e cinque insieme!<br \/><em><strong>Kinematrix \u2013 July 2007<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>I quadri compositivi di Paolo Damiani e i momenti d&#8217;improvvisazione del trio Damiani &#8211; Marcotulli &#8211; Trovesi hanno creato un&#8217;opera d&#8217;arte contemporanea, dove Amadeus appare attuale e mai scontato.<br \/><em><strong>L\u2019unione sarda \u2013 29 July 2007<\/strong><\/em><\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Uno spettacolo singolare, delicato e insieme pieno di passione che rivela una solida idea primigenia. Gifuni e la Bergamasco sono eleganti e queste lettere scivolano sui loro corpi senza trasformarsi mai in niente che assomigli a una caratterizzazione. An immediate success\"<\/strong><br \/>Two excellent actors and three of the most noted jazz artists around met to play with Mozart the other evening on the Ciak stage. The show, entitled \u201cI kiss your hands\u201d, is based on the composer\u2019s letters to a little cousin, to his wife and others, selected with the wish to disclose the other side of the man \u2013 his playful, ironic side \u2013 as if wanting to strip off the myth and expose him in all his fragile humanity. Featuring Sonia Bergamasco and Fabrizio Gifuni, composer Paolo Damiani (author of the music and performing on the cello), pianist Rita Marcotulli and clarinettist Gianluigi Trovesi. An intense, two-voiced reading pervaded with subtleties, which reveals how much the genius was imprisoned by his brilliance and how much he suffered while enduring the haughty arrogance of the powerful. He defended himself with mockery, with vulgar, even obscene words, with a pained sense of humor that, in the end, left him exhausted. The choice of letters is excellent\u2013 and perhaps it goes without saying \u2013 so is the interpretation by Bergamasco and Gifuni. But all ears were awaiting the music.\nReinterpret Mozart in the light of jazz? Pluck his music out of its own time? Damiani chose the more fascinating path. Take the music of Mozart and mix it with his own, blending melodies and harmonies in a sort of experimental process that can shed new light.
