Il tempo del racconto si fa strada attraverso una lingua che vuole costantemente parlare al cuore e all\u2019intelletto. In realt\u00e0 \u2013 avverte Proust, citato dalla stessa Bachmann \u2013 <em>il lettore, quando legge, \u00e8 il lettore di se stesso.
